APPOINTMENT OF ACTING CHIEF EXECUTIVE
With reference to the announcement issued on 02 May 2023, advising Shareholders of the resignation of Ms.
Mercia Geises, who will be stepping down as Chief Executive of the Company.
In order to ensure an orderly transition and sufficient time for the re-assignment of responsibilities, the Board
of Directors has resolved to appoint Mr. Nelson Lucas as Acting Chief Executive, effective 24 May 2023 for a
period of six (6) months. Mr. Nelson Lucas is currently the Head of Corporate and Investment Banking of the
Company and has extensive expertise in auditing of financial institutions, consulting in Business Advisory, VAT
and Transfer Pricing. He is passionate about people development, adding value to businesses / corporations, as
well as investments in the equity and debt capital markets.
Regulatory approval for the acting appointment had been obtained.
The Board will commence the process of appointing a substantive Chief Executive and a further announcement
will be made to Shareholders in due course.
